Our Story
Growing People & Companies
Nearly a century ago, a humble venture emerged as Ahmed Saeed Basamh paved the road to our current legacy.
With over 75 years in the Saudi market, driven by the same passion for innovation, we embarked on a journey
to inspire future generations with our unified desire to grow people and companies.

Our Companies
Driven by Our Passion to Innovate
Basamh Group fosters an exceptional ecosystem of companies dedicated to delivering groundbreaking innovations
within the realms of both food and non-food industries.
BTC has been enhancing everyday lives with household necessities for over 75 years. It quickly became a trusted distributor for market-leading brands, fostering multi-decade-long exclusive distribution agreements with General Mills and S.C. Johnson, as well as manufacturing joint ventures.

Specialized Food Services (SFS), part of the strong BTC heritage, is the Group’s distribution arm to HoReCa channels and one of the leaders in the food service industry in Saudi Arabia. SFS aims to continuously serve customers with solutions, expertise, and Chefmanship that will allow them to better serve their consumers.

Starting with a vision of bringing quality food to people’s tables, Goody has since been constantly innovating and leading the food culture in the Kingdom. As one of the first to provide quality and localized regional blended products like mayonnaise and peanut butter to the country, it continues to be an innovation-driven company that delivers delicious amazement through new experiences and healthier options. GoodyCo now continues to launch more brands, such as Treva, Cofique, and more.

Mr. Saeed Ahmed Basamh saw an opportunity to expand the business and range of quality products to South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. Since its acquisition in 2009, Thokoman Foods SA has transformed itself into a best-in-class manufacturer of peanut butter, with a world-class product, packaging, and manufacturing facility. It is delighting consumers with its products not only in South Africa but in several countries around the world.
